Do you want to learn how to be a quilter?

Beginner Quilter class with Joyce Hostetler. October 3, 10 and 17, 2020, 9:00am - 12:00pm, at The Quilters Hall of Fame. $100 for all three classes. Class size is limited. Call The Quilters Hall of Fame today for more information or to register! 765-664-9333.

- Class participants will be provided a fabric kit and pattern.
- Bring your own machine and you must have a basic knowledge of sewing- how to thread your machine, stitch length, how to wind bobbins, etc.
- Bring small scissors, pencil, notebook, bobbins and a spool of neutral color thread (cream or beige).
- Participants will be taught how to lay out fabric, use a rotary cutter, how to measure accurately and other skills necessary to becoming a quilter.
- There will be homework.


Supply List

Basic Sewing Kit, includes pins, scissors, pin cushion, extra wound bobbins

Rotary cutter, 6" x 12" ruler and a small mat for trimming

*Sewing machine with a 1/4" piecing foot OR a regular foot with 1/4" seamline marked by visible line on sewing machine throat.  

Coffee, soft drink, cushion and other items you need for your personal comfort during class.
