Celebrate National Quilting Day by attending this fabric and quilt dating workshop with Xenia Cord. Xenia is an independent scholar and owner of Legacy Quilts, an antique quilts brokerage. Xenia will present an overview of the types of fabrics that were produced over the years in America. The class will then break into groups and each group will be given a quilt to practice their new skill of dating the fabrics contained in the quilt. This is a free workshop but please register. After the workshop we will be going to Brook's Upper Crust for lunch and then to The Quilters Hall of Fame to see the exhibit Arnold Savage: My Family's Life in Textiles.
